I am definitely no parenting expert, but I’d like to think that after two and a half years, I have a few ins and outs that I can talk about! Here’s a little preview:
“1. Take all ‘advice’ with a grain of salt. Once you have a baby, EVERYBODY has an opinion. Your family members, your significant other’s family members, the cashier who’s ringing you up at the grocery store, and even your mailman. As long as you and your significant other are on the same wave length, and have talked about how the both of you plan on raising your child, all other advice should be taken lightly. I can fully admit that I have let people’s advice and comments, about how I parent, get the best of me. As long as you feel confident in the way that you are raising your child, that’s all that matters. Just politely shrug off the rest.”
