A few hours after we came home from the beach, we hit the road to head up north. Saturday was my cousins graduation party, but we wanted to come up a night early so we could have some family time.
It’s always a great time when we go up there. Seriously. The entire time we’re there it is just non-stop laughing.
When we first got there, we immediately made our way to their little pier. Olivia loves waving at the boats and I love taking pictures from there…mainly of clouds.
Speaking of, just a little forewarning: there are probably one too many cloud pictures.
I can’t help myself sometimes.
Okay okay, I can’t help myself ever.
The next morning, a little person that may or may not go by the name of Olivia, woke her Mama up at the crack of dawn. No, I’m not exaggerating, the Sun was literally coming up when she started screaming, “Wake up, Mama!” She’s lucky she’s cute.
Once everyone else was awake, my sister and I took a Starbucks order from everyone while my aunt cooked us breakfast. And then we headed back to their lake house.
We didn’t waste anytime going into the water. We were just a tad excited to go on the wave runners. I got a picture of everyone riding them….but no one thought to take a picture of me so I have NO PROOF that I actually went on them, but I swear I did! It was so fun! The party started at three, and we knew that once everyone was here, we were gonna have to put the toys away so we soaked in as much water time as possible.
Once the party started, we played bags, ate, enjoyed some family time, met some of my cousin’s friends and then before you know it, it was time to make the drive back home.
Time always flies when we’re up there, but you better believe we’re already planning our next little trip!
