Olivia received this tunic about a year and a half ago and it was way too big, and I was really upset because I loved it so much. Finally, it fits her this year as a dress and paired with some tights, it was the perfect outfit for the 60 degree fall weather we had yesterday.
Top- H&M// Tights- OshKosh B’gosh// Rainboots- A little shop in Galena
In case you didn’t know, or were curious, H&M Clothes run super big. For example, this tunic is a size 1-1 1/2 years, and my child will be three next Saturday. In fact the pants that came with this top are still a little too big on her.
My favorite part about this outfit is the subtle nod to Minnie Mouse. Dominic and I aren’t into flashy flashy outfits for Olivia and usually, if there’s a character on it, chances are it’s followed by rhinestones or glitter and it’s just a little bit too much. Not this though. This is perfect.
Oh and also, the rain boots were totally her idea and I’m sure she’d want you to know that. I, or course, would’ve put her in her little pair of moto boots but she wanted nothing to do with them. It was rain boots or no shoes at all. Dominic and I both agreed that this was one of those “pick your battles” situations and really, the boots looked really cute with the outfit :)
(And don’t even get me started on those little braids. I wish she’d let me braid her hair every day because she looks so freakin cute.)
P.S. We didn’t realize until halfway through the day that her boots were on the wrong feet!
