Guys, guess what? Over the past two weeks, I’ve lost ten pounds!
This is something that I am super super proud of mainly because I was starting to believe that I would be stuck in this unhappy rut forever. It really is true that unless you’re really willing to work for it, you won’t stick to it. You have to really believe you can do it, and not just speak about it.
I am absolutely, 100% not an expert at all. But, I wanted to be able to share a few tips that have really helped me stick to my weight loss plan. They’re easy, simple, and definitely doable for even the busiest of people :)
1. Have a plan. When I first started to get into the mindset of “okay, this is REALLY it. I am going to lose weight. No more excuses.”, I sat down, and wrote out a few “rules” that I wanted to be able to follow including:
*One gallon of water a day
*No fast food
*No fried food
Those are just a few, (and some are pretty obvious) but at the bottom, I put an end-date to my plan. September 7th. I want to be 15 pounds lighter by my first wedding anniversary. I’m so close, and so proud of myself!
2. A gallon of water a day. I’ll be honest, I don’t always hit that mark, but, I drink as much water as I possibly can. A little tip in a tip? Buy a cute cup. I have this one from Starbucks that I really love, and for some reason it makes it easier to chug all that water. Also make sure you know how many ounces are in said cute cup and then figure out how many cups you need to drink to hit the gallon mark. With my cup, I have to drink 5 of them a day!
